for many years, whenever I stay at a hotel...no matter if its the Embassy or the Comfort Inn, I rip the bed cover off and throw it in a corner and I always bring my own blanket to lie on.....

they may launder the sheets everytime but they don't launder the bed spreads....

Sounds good. To accomodate a blanket in your suitcase, you must check your luggage in all the time.
