Bad Day at Black Rock is a classical Western. Solitary man comes to a solitary town to clear up an injustice. Remake of the story, Bad Day at Hondo.

“Bad day at Black Rock” is a “classical Western” the way “Escape From New York” is a travelogue. Spencer Tracy in a suit & hat, carrying a briefcase bears no resemblance to anything but a government man. Ridiculous.
