Chevy’s aren’t big sellers in these parts...this is Ford country, like Montana.

I was in Montana back in the mid 90’s, I asked my buddy why so many people had Fords, he said when we get far back in the woods we want to know that we can get home.

What kinda HP do the other accouterments give the 454?

When I was there (Montana) in the late 1960's we drove Chevy pickups and had GMC trucks. Fords were too "tinny" and prone to rust. Although in the early 1970's GM inherited the rusting problem and kept it until the 90's.
