I have to disagree. The officials won in OT. The bogus pass interference call on Leber and the bogus catch were both official gifts to make sure the number one seed won.

Other than that, the game was a barn burner! 4 quarters of good football decided by the refereeing crew in OT.

Blatant. Bad as it was, it wasn't just about ensuring the #1 seed. It's the story. They "deserve" it because of Katrina. It's always been about Katrina. Cue up the devastation and misery video with gratuitous Bush jabs and run it on an endless loop. The media will be intolerable for the next 2 weeks.

I'll give you the interference call, but the "catch" was inconclusive. Was his hand under the ball? Hard to see in the replays. The call stands.

Now .... what about that "1st down" when the runner dropped the ball? I think he was short of the marker at that point.
