LOL. Oops, I’m not supposed to encourage your duplicate by posting in it.

Personally I don’t mind the duplicate threads.

Some of us don’t spend our whole lives here updating every every few minutes. A lot if useful information ‘falls off the screen’ for those of us who have real lives.

If you see the SAME article being posted as duplicate threads, can't you simply hit the "abuse" button and thereby silently notify the mods that its a duplicate? Perhaps give the URL to the original, to save them time?

LOTS of threads appear to be dups, but when you open them up, the opening article comes from a different source.... so although there seem to be DOZENS of threads about the bankrupcy of Air America, for instance, I think it's because it's being reported and editorialized in so many different places, so most of the threads aren't duplicates.

Some times, too, the search doesn't seem to work for others, or maybe they don't understand to SIMPLY USE ONE WORD FROM THE TITLE to do a search -- simply in the search field, type title: vanity and then all the threads which have that one word in the title will be retrieved. I think that sometimes people do a search on the ENTIRE title and it doesn't work. Just use a SINGLE WORD.
