Wet sanding is recommended to eliminate dust and scuffing of joint tape and paper. When the compound is dry, use moist sponge to remove high spots and imperfections. Dry sanding should be done with a 150 (or finer) grit sandpaper or a 220 grit abrasive mesh cloth.
