The daughters are cuties - he needs to protect them. I mean, like greeting potential boyfriends while sitting on the front porch cleaning the 12-gauge shotgun. That kind of thing.
I didn’t like that part of his victory speech last night. I think he was ad-libbing and was tired as well, so he fumbled a little. I know it was a joke, but it probably didn’t go over as well as he had expected. No biggie, but the media is bound to attack it. Oh well, he’d already won so it isn’t going to be an issue.

You know, it's one thing to read it in the text format, but it's quite another to see it "play out". I don't think he was tired to the point of somehow getting this messed up and fumbling. I think he was joking with the crowd and from the reaction of both his daughters and his wife, they all reacted as if it was hilarious... and there was no problem at all.

That was a typical father remark. I could just see my husband joking around like that. Its a little embarrassing for the girls..but, I dont think he meant anything by it. It was an “open mouth, insert foot” moment.
I cant believe how picky the world has become. Its as if these “talkers” have never done things like this, themselves.
