If Glenn thinks the Cosmo spread is such a huge flaw (which was more thn 20 years ago), at least Brown was getting paid to do the spread. At the same time, Glenn was struggling with substance abuse (and not getting paid for it!)
I think Glenn Beck’s point is that the Democrats will try (did try) to use it to discredit Brown. Therefore it is a negative with Beck.
Look what they did to Carrie Prejean.
For men to pose, harmlessly and covered like that, was at the time seen as almost a feminist act of support in equalizing what had been a traditional double standard: women were shamed and condemned for posing in pictures men weren’t shamed and condemned for purchasing and using.
You make a good point. Beck is a former substance abuser who has gotten clean and is accepted as a solid conservative. If Brown posed SEMI nude 20 years ago, and never again since, why can’t he be accepted?
