View 1: Vote for principles, not labels. Fight the good fight, regardless, even if it means forming a Third Party. [Beck seems pointed toward this.]
View 2: Clean up the ideological house behind the label, in the primaries. Start talking about returning the goings-on in Washington to the Constitution. Use a litmus test for candidates.
Comments?
I thought you were singing Sweet child O' mine :)
1) Are you a SOCIALIST?..
and/or
2) Are you a PROGRESSIVE?...
* You know... loudly with proper pauses.. (for emphasis)..
1. A third party would be a disaster. Remember the little crazy man and his third party in 1992? Also, ten months is not enough time to organize a third party. I think the GOP, warts and all, is the best vehicle for victory this November. Of course, after a purge of RINOs like John McCain.
2. I would add to the litmus test a contract to be signed by ALL Republican politicians stating that if they went off the reservation they would be purged IMMEDIATELY from their political office. We need to make the GOP a RINO FREE ZONE!
AND video it... with sound..
Question: Seriously. What is the difference between a socialist and progressive? Would that be like the difference between a Nazi and Communist?
Scott Brown celebrated with his wife Gail Huff and daughters after defeating
Democrat Martha Coakley in the U.S. Senate race on Tuesday night.
Quit spending money we don’t have on things we don’t need.
We have to let congress, the WH, RNC and DNC know this is only the beginning and we aren’t going to take anymore BS. They will take our calls and listen to us or we will march on Washington again and if they still won’t listen they will be voted out of office.
I know I’ll have to do my homework on candidates running for office this year here in Ohio.
I will vote for (D) (I) or (R) which ever one comes closest to being a CONSERVATIVE. And I will only donate to the candidate.
As Glenn Beck has said, the paradigm will change. I think last nights victory changed the paradigm.
It's a rhetorical game. Socialism has never been popular in the US, so with focus group testing they started calling themselves liberals. When people figured out liberal=socialist, they focus group tested and came up with progressive. Now, people are figuring out that progressive=liberal=socialist. They may go back to populist or come up with another name for themselves, but the goals will never change.
1. At least token opposition to every single House seat. Make ‘em spend their money on their home turf.
2. Target 60 House seats and 20 Senate seats that look to be in play.
3. REALLY target Patty Murray, Barbara Boxer, Harry Reid, Arlen Specter, and Blanche Lincoln. Nationalize these races.
Agree. Too soon for a third party.
Aim for the most vulnerable and/or the most influential RINOs (??)
Good question to ask at the next republican fund raiser..
Asked to the candidate, video taped with sound and put on You Tube..
NO THIRD PARTY!
Thanks for the post.
It does say much for the patriotism of the vast majority of the American People that after more than 150 years since it was created, socialism is rejected and considered so evil that its real name cannot be mentioned.
