The RNC and GOP didn’t give him the time of day until it was apparent that he was withing striking distance. That says a lot. The problem with the Republicans is that those calling the shots are idiots...McCain for example.

Brown’s campaign was a breath of fresh air. It is time the Republican “Machine” get out of the way, they are as out of touch as the dems.

Brown’s campaign seems to have said RNC was there from the beginning, but that they stayed quiet about it because he didn’t want it to look like he was an out-of-state-run candidacy. That’s also why Sarah Palin said she didn’t endorse him earlier.

Given that they were trying to keep their involvement secret, I don’t think we’ll ever know exactly what they did. Apparently, they sent people up to help Brown’s campaign. And apparently, from Brown’s speech, McCain gave him help as well.

We could well find out that other conservative politicians specifically didn’t help him because he asked them not to get involved.
