What genius! Having a typographic convention to substitute for the verbal cues to scarcasm! No one’s thought of that before! Why $1.99 is cheap for the results of such brilliance. /sarcasm

If you've ever used this " s/off " please send me a dollar.
The money will be used for the USS Alaska fund for haiti.
I won't give it to anyone but I'll go to the Bahamas where I can keep an eye on Bill Clinton.
You know he's going to steal the money intended for haiti relief and President Bush will be blamed. Perfect plan for the left.
My fund will not be misused, I promise that any funds not spent for my trip will be used for Blackjack.
Thank you for your support.

"Um, whats wrong with /s? /s" Here, as I understand it, is the FR approved </sarc> :
Type an ampersand - & then lt for first carat <
then /sarc.
An & and gt makes the other carat >.
"& lt" /sarc "& gt" = < /sarc>
same procedure will produce any "off switch," i.e., < /lame attempt at humor >
