Did it ever occur to you that even if people were ignorant and practiced voodoo that a forgiving God would forgive them?
Forgiveness only comes from repentance and the turning to Jesus, the Messiah of Israel as the only way to salvation for anyone on this earth.
If they do that -- repent of their evil ways (just like we saw in the book of Jonah, when God sent the message to them, through Jonah) and accept the promised Messiah of Israel (who has now come, but before, people looked forward to His coming) -- then they will be forgiven.
Judgment of nations, by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is meant to turn people's hearts to repentance of their evil ways and to get them to turn to the Salvation that is in Jesus, the Messiah of Israel.
We'll see if we have national repentance in Haiti or not -- or simply a continuation of their long-standing Satanic and voodoo practices...
