We always hear from the MSM and from atheist groups, especially at Christmas, how atheist groups are on par with Christian groups. Watching the Haiti devastation and the people helping down there in the chaos and destruction, I have not yet seen even one single atheist organization.
Please post if you see one.
He,he,he, they’re all holed up in the USofA, safe and sound, so they can gripe on another Christmas day.
See y’all later, gotta get ready for church. My hair is a mess.
Never happen.
They are meeting with all of the muslim aid groups on how to explain their absence.
Ha. Well there is the United Nations there.....
Hell will freeze over before the atheists get involved to help in Haiti.
Meanwhile - thousands of American Christians have been giving of their time, their money, and their very lives (some now quite literally) for the people of Haiti.
http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/6822953/ - Just one story - Area (near here in Central NC) Minister who died in Earthquake aftermath....
http://www.wral.com/news/local/video/6821158/ - Video about group of missionaries from US coming back - one included a Great Grandmother who has been to Haiti over 40 times in last few decades ....
Just two stories out of hundreds/thousands re: American Christians who have been serving the people of Haiti for years and who will continue to do so...while all the atheists twiddle their thumbs and read Hawking....
That isn’t a specific atheist group. Many Physicians associated with that believe in God, some don’t.
Curious why you posted that.
Gaia World Relief is down there filling in the cracks in the earth.

They’re too busy patting themselves on the back because they are too smart to fall for all of the “ignorance” and “fear” that guides Christian and I’m guessing Jewish groups to help in a catastrophe.
Habitat for Humanity is another one, but I couldn't find anything about their presence in Haiti.
MsF, by the way, lost 3 of their doctors to the disaster.
As for individuals, you are not speaking for the personnel from various countries who are helping in the relief works, are you? I mean, those from the UN, the Russians, French, British, Chinese, etc.
A group of Chinese personnel greet the rescue and relief goods from China at the airport in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on Jan. 17, 2010. The goods weigh about 90 tons, and are worth about 13 million Chinese yuan(about 1.9 million U.S. dollars), including drugs, tents, portable lamps, water purifying equipments, food and water, and clothing.
I am very critical of muslims and islam, but I am also fair. They ARE down there helping.

nobama IS GOING TO CHURCH today. He’s going to give a speech at a church where MLK appeared a couple of times.
I just finish “Going Rogue”. Sarah put up with a lot of grief from some of the know-it-alls who wanted to completely control every thing concerning the candidate, during the campaign, even food.
But what interested me most, and made me smile was the last page, last paragraph, after acknowledging everyone, was her invitation to invite the reader to “Invite Him in to take over’...then see what He will do and how”
bbl.
It would seem that it is rather difficult to get people to unite and organize because of a common belief in...nothing. Nihilism tends to negate the belief in anything like social conscience and helping others.
What would their rallying cry be? “ C’mon, I don’t believe in a Higher Power, neither do you, so lets spend a lot of time and money and sweat helping in this time of crisis because, well, its the right thing to do! Wait...there is no ‘right and wrong’. Nevermind.”
Oh, wait- you’re right! When the PLANET sees what it did to punish Haiti because of the politics it heard about it will, of course, instantly begin rebuilding! Trees will sprout, vegetables will appear amid the rubble, clean water will pour forth from the mountains. Rock will reassemble into buildings and the animals will be instructed to heal humans!
Planets do that all the time. Tell Haiti to just wait! LOL
P.S. Or Glover can get his millionaire buddies to hire a jet filled with aid supplies and start making a difference instead of showing the world his ignorance. Calling John Travolta and Harrison Ford- get yer jets up, jerks! There’s an idea!
I was also wondering if that tower of compassion, Saudi Arabia, has sent anything.
Yesterday, Foxnews had a list of countries sending things.
As of yesterday, Saudi Arabia sent NOTHING.
All donations to S.H.A.R.E.100 percent with no operating costs retainedwill be sent directly to the secular aid group Doctors Without Borders, which suffered the loss of all three of its medical facilities and is working against difficulties to provide the basics of first-aid care and stabilization.
Good, nonreligious people want to help, but are often reluctant to give when they know their donations may be diverted from real aid to sectarian causes, said Ronald A. Lindsay, president and CEO of the Center for Inquiry. S.H.A.R.E. provides an assured opportunity for people to directly help those in needand to show they carewithout a needless entanglement in religion.
Previous S.H.A.R.E. campaigns raised relief funds for survivors of the 7.9-magnatude earthquake that struck Chinas Sichuan Province in May 2008, assisted displaced families following the February 2008 tornadoes in the Southeastern United States and the Southern California wildfires that destroyed thousands of homes in 2007, and helped to coordinate the distribution of medical supplies on the Gulf Coast following Hurricane Rita in September 2005.
S.H.A.R.E. is a program of the Center for Inquiry, responding to the need to provide an alternative for those who wish to contribute to charitable efforts without the intermediary of a religious organization in times of great need.
Those wishing to contribute to the dedicated Haiti campaign through S.H.A.R.E. may do so at https://secure.ga1.org/05/share_earthquake_in_haiti
The Center for Inquiry/Transnational, a nonprofit, educational, advocacy, and scientific-research think tank based in Amherst, New York, is also home to the Council for Secular Humanism, founded in 1980; and the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry (formerly CSICOP), founded in 1976. The Center for Inquirys research and educational projects focus on three broad areas: religion, ethics, and society; paranormal and fringe-science claims; and sound public policy. The Centers Web site is www.centerforinquiry.net .
Doctors without Borders, CARE, UNICEF, International Red Cross, and others. These are not explicitly atheist organizations, but they are not religiously affiliated. Believers and non-believers are welcome to join. They simply provide care.
So your point is false.
But I guess it was important to you to use Haitian dead bodies as a pedestal to fight your religious wars.
