If you’re really interested, here in North/Central West Virginia it’s been snowing and very cold from New Years to yesterday. We are warming now and the snow is melting.
Now about this “thermal inversion.” I always thought that was when a layer of dense cold air settled over warm air thus not allowing the less dense warm air from escaping up.
That’s the interesting thing. And, yes, I am interested thank you :-)
It’s probably got warmer all over the northern hemisphere now. Except Alaska and the west coast where it has probably gotten colder.
Thank goodness. We need some winter in Vancouver. The Olympics are on in a month’s time :-)
