How about a purple mohawk and a bone through the nose? Just taking the trip down the slippery slope... I'd rather my kid look like that then have a government paid bureaucrat dictate his physical appearance.

Very well. Let's consider other standards. Should girls wear their skirts as short as they wish? How about mirco-minis without undergarments?
Should boys enjoy freedom of expression if they want to wear mini-skirts?
I'm just curious as to where you would draw the line.
