Hi, lady! We had about 6 inches of light-textured snow on Saturday, the kind you can brush away with a broom, but even that gets dangerous at night; so I didn't go see the "Bold Fresh" show at the local movie theater. We had a warm snap yesterday that helped clear the rooftops and pavements, leaving a lot of snae on the ground. Today some of the grass is peeking through, but I still have a large clientele of birds and squirrels at the feeders.
How was your storm in NC?
About 3” of mostly ice here, Friday night and Saturday. We couldn’t get out Sunday, but I made it to the dentist Monday, up roads that were in the sun. Today it rained, and everywhere that’s not full shade is cleared out. Current temp is 35, so it shouldn’t all ice up over night.
Some of the guys north and west of me had up to 10”, and there’s more crud in the forecast for the weekend coming up. It is February after all.
We have birds at the feeders - the catz love it!
