FRINGE Season 2 Thread
http://www.fox.com/fringe/ ^

Posted on 01/11/2010 3:01:03 PM PST by Lucky9teen

FRINGE returns for a second thrilling season that will continue to explore the unexplained phenomena and terrifying occurrences linked throughout the world - known simply as "The Pattern" - in pursuit of a larger, more shocking truth.

Set in Boston, the FBI's Fringe Division formed when Special Agent OLIVIA DUNHAM (Anna Torv) enlisted the help of institutionalized "fringe" scientist WALTER BISHOP (John Noble) and his son, PETER (Joshua Jackson), to save her partner and lover from a mind-bending death. Through unconventional and unorthodox methods, the FRINGE team imagines and tests the impossibilities while investigating unbelievable events, macabre crimes, and mystifying cases involving pyrokinesis, neuroscience, cryonics, genetic engineering, astral projection, and other fantastical theories. When the unimaginable happens, it's their job to stop it.

Agent PHILLIP BROYLES (Lance Reddick) guides the group, while by-the-book Agent CHARLIE FRANCIS (Kirk Acevedo) and Junior Agent ASTRID FARNSWORTH (Jasika Nicole) provide support and depth to the team. Underscoring the unfolding mysteries, enigmatic Massive Dynamic executive NINA SHARP (Blair Brown) asserts that the advancement of technology is changing the world of science, and conversely, the science of the world.

Yeah, I hope a building doesn’t fall on you.

Over here, the oil geyser off Louisiana has already been capped. Red Adair has become a national hero once again, utilizing a remote inverse derrick that uses proximal gravity to make the crude oil more massive. Algore's Tennessee mansion mysteriously disappeared, replaced by a wooden tobacco drying and processing unit.

I ducked when that building you referred to went by. Thanks for the heads up, rabidralph.

I wonder if they are going to auction the 20 dollar bill they used in the show on E-bay, LOL.

LOST better not be postponed or delayed because of barry’s speech.

WHAT???!!! When did this happen? He's giving (another) (boring) speech. Why? Details, please. My daughter and I are really looking forward to this episode. I'm going to make pork ribs on the grill for dinner, maybe a Hawaiian salad, or peanut butter on crackers, courtesy of Dharma Initiative.

I can't stand to think this poser is going to ruin my Sunday viewing of the last episode of LOST.

Oh you scared me.

That was back in January (just looked). Remember barry was deciding between American Idol and LOST for disruption.

Are you taking about a new speech?

I will go nuts-o. If that happens.

By the way dinner sounds fantastic, you forgot your address and time you are serving. ,-)

I had to go back and check.
I just looked at the cable TV guild, and it has LOST from 7pm to 11:30pm.
Wow.
I want to have a party!

I think the 7 pm start is a sort-of review of the show. I'm not sure if there will be cast interviews or not. The final episode is 2-1/2 hours, starting at 9.

You are aware that they are showing the 2 hour premiere episode of LOST on Saturday night.

The season finale was fantastic! I didn't figure it out till Dunham flipped on the light to her apt and looked around. It was a 'Eureka' moment!

Great to see Nimoy and as always, I totally adore Walter.

We have Dharma beer, crackers, those candy bars.......ok, my husband found an internet site that had labels you could make and covered nearly everything in the pantry.
Someone told me there are sites where you can print up free of charge invitations for the party.
I am guessing with the Saturday 2 hours and the Sunday 5.5 hours.......man it could be a weekend party!!!
