To post a pic, you just find the URL of it and put up a hyperlink like this:

<img src="http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/5303/carterobama.jpg">

Replace the red 'URL' with the URL for your image. If you want to 'hotlink' an image you found on the web, right click on it and then select 'properties', the URL will be there which you can then copy and paste.

That text will post this image:

Of course, your image must be on the web somewhere on a web server. You can upload it to a site like Imageshack, which allows "hot linking" of images.
