I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for women who like sex, so I won’t join in kicking Mrs. Robinson while she’s down, especially since she’s already made a suicide attempt.
She tried to comfort a young man who had lost his father, and apparently hormones did the rest. As I recall, Eddie Fisher tried to comfort Elizabeth Taylor after she lost Mike Todd, and wound up in bed and divorce court. Losing Debbie Reynolds was a serious long term blow to Eddie.
The young man was of age, so unless Iris Robinson is proven to have sold her public office, this matter is strictly between her and her Prime Minister husband. I wonder how long it’s been since he gave his wife some marital affection? Maybe that’s why he’s hasn’t made any move to file for divorce.
