Most movies are 90 minutes in length, and, yes, I think this is doable. You do a background story of the crew, and passengers, interaction on the plane, etc. I see this as a potential good movie if done correctly. Also, the river landing, the rescue, etc. would be very interesting - much like the Titanic, with the exception that all passengers were rescued.

They could write in sub plot that Dick Cheney’s evil hunting caused the geese to deviate from their usual flight pattern . Matthews , all the while intentionally mispronouncing the name as Chee-knee could , could explain Cheney just didn't care .

Who knows maybe Hollywood will add something like the original cause was Muslims orchestrating to make geese take off from feeding areas in front of aircraft taking off.

While Im not a director or producer of any kind, I am at a bit of a loss how someone turns :3minutes, 3 seconds of drama into a :90 minute movie, and makes it entertaining.
Once you add in the mafia hit men and the robots from the future, the script practically writes itself.

This incident was way overplayed.
And yet the person who saved a plane from being blown up, not a word...

You flew SAR missions? You are the man. I watched a show today on the Jolly Greens in Nam. Balls the size of beach balls.
Keep safe...
