I do model rocketry, from the minis to the E-powered guys. A rocket group called Tripoli does stuff that can go two miles high and is 8 feet tall. It's branched out to photography & video from atop the rocket, as well as an atmosphere sampler that's in the works. The possibilities are endless.

Very good. I would add coaching football or baseball to the list.

Its always been a chore for me ... but, maybe its just me, or maybe its because I live in Houston and it is typically 98 degrees and 100% humidity whenever I have to do lawn work. Car repair, I’m fine with ... but I’d rather pay someone to do the lawn.

Alcohol/Cigar/Pipe Smoking Connoisseur

I am very selective about my alcohols and my tobaccos.
Although in ways most would never expect. ;-)

Any member of the Homebrewers Ping List live in Texas that would like to trade brew for beef?

Given the size of the state of Texas, with my living in the Albuquerque, NM, area, I may be closer than other actual Texas residents.

Can you ship beer?

I have a Kolsch that I need to bottle today and it should be ready in two weeks.

got no problem with your reasoning or POV.

Afterall, being a manly man includes deciding what is a chore, and what is a pleasure. :-)

I combine knitting and metal working. I just started making my own chainmail. Les than $50 in tools to start. $6 will get you 200 feet of 16 gauge galvanized wire at Home Depot. Its very slow going, but that is what I like about it. It occupies my mind enough that I can filter out whatever garbage the wife or kids are watching on TV, but still know what is going on and being said around me. You can take the work with you in a small Crown Royal bag and do it while your waiting in the dentist’s office.

I’d suppose you’d call an alcoholic an “Amateur Alcohol Connoisseur”?
