FWIW, Golf Digest is published by Condé Nast, the same company that publishes Vanity Fair, The New Yorker Vogue and a number of other leftist rags. Because Tiger is a paid "contributing editor" (earning an estimated $1.5 million annually from GD), I suspect that is how those Annie Liebowitz pictures of a shirtless Tiger Woods ended up on the cover of Vanity Fair.
It's also interesting that immediately after Golf Digest announces that Woods would be taking an indefinite hiatus from his responsibilities as a contributing editor, Vanity Fair publishes it's "hit piece" on Woods.
