The David Naughton commercials from the 70’s were some of the best soft drink commercials ever.

Here in the DFW area, the Dr Pepper commercials with the Kiss guy have been on TV for a couple of weeks. ....I thought the Super Bowl was supposed to be the venue for introducing NEW commercials by the various firms that can shell out the exhorbitant payments for a half-minute or one minute of air time.

Of course, Dr Pepper (no period after the Dr) was invented in Waco TX, so maybe they are just testing the commercial before going worldwide at the Super Bowl.
