They aren’t shooting lasers at the whales, dude. They’re shooting them at the whaling SHIPS. Although knowing just how inept Sea Shepherd is, I wouldn’t be surprised if the lasers were totally harmless...they’ve tried to bluff having LRADs on their ships before.

They are not shooting them at the whales. They are shooting them at the Japanese crew. The green lasers are designed to fry out the human eye. Our eyes process green light better than any other color. Hence the reason that the green lasers in question are illegal to possess in Australia where the Andy Gil sailed from.
