Hume was very articulate about this tonight, offering more depth than yesterday. I respect his beliefs, and I even think he is correct generally speaking. But his province to talk about this on a religious/spiritual level on a national newstalk show is questionable. Hume is a Washington newsman and Woods is a golfer—not Bill Clinton or any other elected official.
This whole thing with Tiger Woods has gone too far in the media now. He’s a golfer. His personal life is not our business.

Well put.
Brit’s son committed suicide in 1998. (I remember the day Tony Snow told viewers on FOX News Sunday. He did it with the eloquence we all miss so very much.)
Anyway, I look at what Brit said this past Sunday though the prism of what he has experienced as a father.
Hume WAS a Washington correspondent. He is now a COMMENTATOR. And he was indeed commenting on the situation.
I agree this was quite refreshing to hear from an individual acquainted first hand with what this means...and I suspect we’re going to hear more Christians in the limelight speak candidly as the obvious destruction of our nation and moral compass continues.
When things go well monetarily and relatively smooth in our nation many do not feel the need to speak up....but we are not there anymore. Everyone feels the foundation of our country shaking now...and they need to hear what Brit Hume stated, how be it thru Tiger’s fall...there are those who heard who may indeed heed.
Now that I have said that, I agree with you. Tigers personal life is none of our business.
