These people may drink a lot of tea, but cannot read American tea leaves. They do not understand the irrational grandiosity of American political class liberals. When Obama bashes Bush and sends letter after letter to Iran asking for negotiations this is not a signal of weakness or change of ultimate aims against Iranian nukes. This is about Obama and liberals. One, it flows from their fantasy that they understand the world better. Two, it flows from their grandiosity that the various interests in their cartoon-imagination of the world will submit to their beneficient moral superiority—they present themselves as the “magical liberal.” Domestically, it serves their identity politics as being “smarter” and “reality based.” They are the furthest from reality about the world, but that cannot sink in because part of their self-praise and arrogance.
It's not merely that he is a bastard, but his father, if indeed that part of the crafted legend is true, was a foreigner. That BHO, Sr. was married to a woma(e)n other than Obama's mother at the time of his conception and throughout their brief time together is titillating but not the point.
In some sort of mass hypnotic state, his status a a reportedly "native born citizen," has been automatically accepted as just as good as the Constitutionally required "Natural Born Citizen."
But if the reality of valid questions about his constitutional eligibility have escaped most Americans, I assure you it has not escaped the attention of hostile foreigners, some of whom I suspect of underwriting the more absurd legal maneuvers against BHO, Jr. But now, some real live adult American lawyers have taken up the cases and are directing their efforts properly. Even if, for example, the quest for Writs of Quo Warranto wending their way to the Federal District Court in DC come to naught, they weaken Obama's ability to deal with foreigners, as did his unreported personal campaigns for the terrorist jihadi Raila Oding in Kenya.
Everyone is acting as if Iran already had the bomb. The US is treating them as being the Great Regional Power to appease in Afghanistan. We’ve delayed our vaunted “sanctions” far into the future.
Turkey has agreed to negotiate its border with Syria, Iran’s proxy, when only a couple of years ago they were wanting to annex northern Iraq. The arabs are lining up to pledge fealty to Iran should Israel attack, when only a year ago they were rather openly begging Israel to do it.
They’ve already seen the power shift, and they are all taking the appropriate steps... they and we are too.
Maybe O is the nuke. They’ve got it and we just surrendered. The diplomacy is just a long slow dance intended to hide it from us. But no one else is fooled.
