So, if the Bible is silent on physics, chemistry, astronomy and the like, it is also silent on evolution.

If you believe in a 6,000 year old Earth (and Universe) ITOH, you are saying the Bible (via Numbers and other references) completely contradicts science. Is that your stand?

Doing a search in the Hebrew leads to the conclusion that there is no Hebrew word *nom*.

I just didn’t want to get into an entire dissertation on molecules, light refraction, the human eye’s ability to distinguish what we call “color” etc.

Much of what is called science is mostly mans word and it should not be held as truth because ‘the science’ changes all the time.

Man’s word in the guise of science can never be ascendant over the word of God no matter much some want it to be so.
