THE ALTERNATIVE TO complicated scenarios .... (UPDATED AT 4:30PM)
... the final draft on the easiest way to do the AFC wildcard. After TODAY, teams finish 9-7:
1. NYJ ...... 9-7 .... conference 7-5 (has S.O.V. over BALT & DEN)
2. BALT ...... 9-7 ................... 7-5 (beat DEN head-to-head)
3. DEN ...... 9-7 .................. 7-5
*4. HOUS won!, now 9-7 .................. 6-6 (won common games over PITT)
*5. PITT won!, now 9-7 ................. 6-6
the TOP TWO get the Wildcard. If a team loses, cross them OFF and move everyone BELOW up one.
(... so heres examples: HOUS must win and have 2 teams above them lose to move from 4. to 2. and get a Wildcard. PITT must win and have 3 teams above them lose to move from 5. to 2.)
PATS have clinched tiebreaker over CINN at 10-6, so if CINN loses, they are #4, PATS are #3.
PATS have clinched tiebreaker as of 430pm. Therefore, if CINN loses, PATS are #3 seed.
Magic number was 3.
BUFF won.
BUFF won. (double win for PATS)
NYJ would win if CINN loses.
CAR won.
That is 4, more than enough.

AFC playoff possibilities:
NYJ at CINN ... ONLY option! (NYJ#5 at CINN#6) ... unless NYJ loses.
BALT at PATS ... BALT#6 @ PATS#3 or BALT#5 @ PATS#4
if NYJ or BALT lose, just replace them on that schedule.
If both NYJ & BALT lose, then it is DEN @ PATS and PITTS @ CINN.
(nyj, pitts cannot play pats ... balt cannot play cinn.)
BALT has clinched.
BALT at NEW ENGLAND next week
If DEN loses:
(HOUS or NYJ) at CINN next week
