The building itself is reminiscent of the Frank L. Wright concept for a mile high skyscraper, "The Illinois", which he designed in 1956. Of course at 520+ stories, it would be over twice the height of the Burj Dubai.

Here is a Construction Week article on the "Mile High" being the inspiration for the design.
