Yeah, I agree that authentic, life changing, Salvific repentance requires a change of heart and seeking God’s forgiveness, cleansing, changing etc.

I find nothing in Scripture that says I MUST, OUGHT TO, SHOULD wait to forgive until I have all that signed, sealed and notorized . . . or even mentioned.

MANY Scriptures indicate quite otherwise as I’ve quoted above.

Folks on your side have offered nothing convincing Scripture-wise to counter that list of Scriptures indicating that God would have us FORGIVE regardless, routinely—at least as often as we pray . . .

OUR FATHER, WHO ART IN HEAVEN . . .

Which words in those Scriptures are not easy to understand?

Well, Quix, there is little I can say to you...God leaves some things to figure out on our own using the common sense born into us.
Forgiveness has requirements, and Christians are not doormats.

I maintain that if someone honestly seeks your forgiveness for doing something bad to you, regardless of your anger at the time, you are bound to forgive them.

If someone wrongs you and could care less, you are not bound to forgive.
Christians are not second-class citizens.

If you care to take the higher ground and just forgive humans for being as they are, fine.
If it were true that ALL are to be forgiven regardless of the situation, there would be no reason for Judgment day, no need for hell, and God would just forgive everybody across the board.
Clearly, that is not the case, else why did John the Baptist cry, “REPENT!” ??
