Have we remembered that one of the ways of leveling the whole situation is forgiving the enemy? Jesus admonished His children: Pray for those who persecute you, despitefully use you. Jesus followed through with His own counsel: Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.

If you cannot just drop it, but need everyone to agree with you, thats a problem I am not going to make my own.
You worry about your eternity and let me take care of mine. I personally do not agree with you, so just drop it...
And the fancy blue letters don't impress much, all though blue is a lovely color, the 2 colors I don't like are blue and pink....just my opinion.
Have a great week...
LOL!
I think you just coined a new term..."false bravotu"
Quit changing the subject. Forgiveness doesn't preclude self-defense, the war against islam, or killing an enemy.
Forgiveness has to do with the condition of the heart toward God.
Before you start pronouncing those who disagree with your inarticulate ramblings as "gay" or "below their grade" you should learn how to follow the logic of plainly presented statements and how to stick with the subject.
The subject here is not how to prosecute the war against those who want to kill us, our country, and our way of life. No one here disagrees with the violence that should and must be inflicted on our enemy.
You reveal a distinct and cowardly deceitfulness by changing the subject so you can insult those who frankly have a much better grasp of the subject matter AT HAND than you do.
Try coming to this thread sober!
Goodness.
Had NO desire to offend you.
Have a blessed week.
Easy, Bro.
Forgiveness changes us . . . regardless.
If he’s due some, give him some.
Angry at myself for wasting time debating a drunk!
Don’t know where you’re getting the drunk part.
However, that’s certainly not a time to try and inject any enlightenment! LOL.
You didn't offend me, but sometimes one has to know when to back off in a discussion....As I said, you may be a perfectly nice person, but you are a stranger to me. I have read scripture many times and don't come to some of the same conclusions you have...Its just my way of saying back off......
A blessed week to you also...
Well, Quix, there is little I can say to you...God leaves some things to figure out on our own using the common sense born into us.
Forgiveness has requirements, and Christians are not doormats.
I maintain that if someone honestly seeks your forgiveness for doing something bad to you, regardless of your anger at the time, you are bound to forgive them.
If someone wrongs you and could care less, you are not bound to forgive.
Christians are not second-class citizens.
If you care to take the higher ground and just forgive humans for being as they are, fine.
If it were true that ALL are to be forgiven regardless of the situation, there would be no reason for Judgment day, no need for hell, and God would just forgive everybody across the board.
Clearly, that is not the case, else why did John the Baptist cry, “REPENT!” ??
Sorry for blowing my top in post 103.
While I meant much of what I said in my comment, my opening salvo was inappropriate.
Sorry to the rest of the posters on this thread for subjecting you to such language.
the voice of reason!!!
Thanks, thanks.
