How do they know that spoiled brat got the concussion at practice and not at the bar fight he was in the night before?
After Leach finishes with the James family in court, they will be wishing they had just told their 22-year-old sophomore to come home and live in their basement. No school or coach will want to have anything to do with this whiner and his helicopter dad, who attended 70+ practices to see that the coaches weren’t being mean to his little boy.
Why is where he received the concussion relevant to his ability to practice? He either was diagnosed with a concussion, or he wasn't. And, from what I understand of the situation, irrespective of where he received the concussion, the coaching staff as well as the training staff, were all aware of his condition.
He could have received it in a fight, at practice or in a car accident, but that doesn't change the fact that their should be protocols in place for dealing with athletes who were concussed. It appears that there weren't.
