A previously unpublished manuscript by Project Blue Books Lt. Col. Hector Quintanilla has just been published.
The manuscript book was written in 1975 by Lt. Col. Hector Quintanilla, the head of the USAF Project Blue Book. Project Blue Book was supposed to be an objective investigation and documentation of the UFO phenomenon carried out by the United States Air Force from March 1952 until December 1969.
* It demonstrate to the interested public, through the authors own unedited words, Lt. Col. Quintanillas attitudes, preconceptions and biases that dominated Project Blue Book. * It describes methodology and practices employed by the United States Air Force in investigating and cataloging the UFO phenomenon.
The manuscript covers the years of Quintanillas own involvement from July 1963 to December 1969 in Project Blue Book and also contains many valuable insights into the public and media reaction to the USAF funded study from the perspective of the author. In particular, Lt. Col. Quintanillas descriptions of University of Arizona professor James E. McDonalds pursuit of the UFO phenomena as well as Dr. J. Allen Hyneks relationship with project Blue Book are annotated for the public record in considerable, colorful, and sometimes jaundiced detail.
Here (BELOW) is a 428KB Acrobat PDF file of the complete book, which is copyrighted by Karl Quintanilla.

The McMinnville Photos are among those parts of the UFO phenomenon that defy quotidian explanation. Because of these photos (among other bits and pieces) I remain convinced that a deeply hidden truth lies behind the entire UFO matter — a truth I hope to live long enough to see revealed.
Quintanilla’s memoir is a straightforward if sometimes opinionated account of service as the Air Force’s top military bureaucrat in charge of Project Blue Book. Contrary to his statement to Harley Campbell, Quintanilla’s ultimate opinion in the memoir is negative as to UFOs being of ET origin.
Um, Armstrong and Aldrin were NOT on Apollo 13.
There is a big flap of flying orange lights seen all over Europe on New Years morning just after midnight. All appeared to follow the same pattern in numerous cities.
You can see some of them on video at YouTube... simply go and enter “Jan 1 2010 UFO” and you will find a number of them. So far they have been seen over Sweden, Denmark, Poland, the UK and even reported in Indonesia.

They are flying faster and higher than “Chinese Lanterns” and are much brighter.
??????
Oops! lol Well... I was mistaken. I had Apollo 13 on my mind, but I was referring to Apollo 11.
The numerous UFO sightings over Washington DC in July 1952 (including air traffic control radars and F-94 interceptor aircraft, radar and visual) were explained away by the Air Force as: “the recent blips and lights can be attributed to weather inversions.” Radar operators were insulted because they knew weather inversions don’t produce blips on radar. The pilots were insulted because they knew what they saw wasn’t caused by weather inversions. Ten years later, one of those F-94 pilots told me what he experienced.
You too.

Thanks thanks.
Will check it out, likely tomorrow.
Those 'sightings' all over Europe all occurred at just between midnight and 1:00 a.m. - during or just after most of the fireworks... the ones I saw were at the same time.
I'll call those identified for now... but next year for my New Year's celebration, I will buy some Chinese Flying Lanterns!
Get some for next year!
Chinese Flying Lanterns
:)
Thanks for the ping.
