That’s true. No matter what I want to do, His will trumps mine.
I make suggestions or requests to God for stuff I’d like to do, or hope to do, or see as things I might do for a living, especially since His word does say we are supposed to work for our bread. So far I have heard no response; He hasn’t pointed me in the direction He wants my life to go. This is okay—I can wait on His perfect will to be revealed—but regrettably Chase Mortgage Group and Potomac Electric and Giant Food and Washington Gas are not interested in God’s will; they’re interested in getting money. I am pointing this out to Him.
