Sierra Vista has got to be some kind of weather anomaly! I’m sitting in the middle of town and, if I do a slow spin, I see nothing but solid clowds all the way around us.
But, here in town, it’s sunny!
We’ve had some misting rain and some very heavy winds but no snow to speak of. Up the mountain slopes there is some snow; but again, not much.
We have a storm blowing through, yes, but I certainly wouldn’t call it a blizzard!
The weather channel just reported that winds at 99mph were clocked in the Chandler area. This is a NASTY storm! Tlaquepaque, Poco Diablo, and Aroya Roble have all been evacuated, up here in Sedona. The creek is supposed to crest at midnight, at 20’ over flood level......
