I don't fault anyone and I'm not sure what you even mean with that statement.
All I know is that if there is a god, it could not allow anyone to suffer as much pain as I have seen and the billions of others that have died terrible deaths after having only menial lives.
There is no love from some being outside our universe. That's all I know.
There is love in the universe.
Whose responsibility is it to turn that love into a verb and do all that can be done to make the world a better place?
That is the responsibility of all good people.
Perhaps you might look at it this way. Your child needs an immunization. Ultimately, it is for his own good, and the good of others (herd immunity and all that). It hurts, but only briefly, so you agree to give your child the shot.
Our lives, as compared with eternity, are as fleeting as that quick moment of pain while getting a shot. Yeah, seems long to us, but we lack perspective. Those painful deaths and menial lives last a second compared with eternity. Heaven is even more wonderful than this world could possibly hope to be. Suffer for a very short time, but spend eternity in peace and contentment.
So, God allows all of us to act with free will so that we can choose him or not. We hurt each other or the physical world causes us pain, and God can use that hurt/pain to bring good things (increased faith, fellowship with others, acts of love and kindness) to us and others. It's hard to appreciate pain, but if you look, you can often find something valuable in it.
