Leach is getting a bad rap.

As a Longhorn fan, I fear the guy... but I like him and I respect him.

This is political correctness run amok. It wouldn’t surprise me if this happened to Mack Brown in Austin, but I wouldn’t expect it out of Lubbock.

The AD @ Tech has not liked Leach for years. He had the same problem with Bob Knight. Apparently, our AD either wants complete control or is just a small person.

However, it does not surprise me that they would try to fire Leach.

I'm still going with the theory that Leach did not harm this kid in any way - the kid claimed to have a mild concussion and Leach did not make him practice, did not leave him alone - he was out of the sun when the kid said the light hurt his eyes.

I do think Leach thought he was faking - and lets just think about why a Coach wouldn't believe some overrated former NFL players kid - especially when Coach said publicly the Daddy acted like a Little League dad.....

So, did Leach decide since the little baby boy couldn't practice that he also couldn't go to the game with the team? Is that something that would have prompted Daddy Dearest to throw this kind of a fit and ruin a Coach's reputation?

Have no fear. I am a longhorn but live up here. The AD and Chancellor are history in a book. Never has a situation been so badly reviewed and handled. The AD is a bad dream. He will be personally sued,in my opinion, along with each board member that allowed this groundless defamation to happen but the deep pockets will be ESPN and Tech itself. I would guess about a half a billion dollars in total award with punitive damages for slander and wrongful defamation. Leach is a lawyer and after he gets his injunction tomorrow ( an absolute cinch) he will leave and sue these bastards for HUGE damages . Hook em horns! ( We will beat alabama like a red headed step child.)
