During the S-OIV outbreak in Milwaukee, WI, the fully automated assay was used to test 1232 samples in 2 weeks.

Despite the press release giving the title in quotation marks, i.e. in the manner in which I search for any statement on the Internet, Yahoo found nothing, and Google only found this and other press releases. I had to go to the Journal of Molecular Diagnostics and go down the table of contents to find this abstract.

Doesn’t say what the tests cost but this sounds good. This year it seemed that every day there was a new and contradictory report of how many seasonal and how many H1N1 flu cases there were.
