Charlie Sheen, the highest-paid television actor in America, spent Christmas Day behind bars after his wife made an emergency, early-morning phone call to the police complaining that she had been assaulted. The star of America's favourite sitcom, Two and a Half Men, was arrested and charged with the second-degree crimes of assault and menacing, which can carry a 12-month prison sentence. The 44-year-old actor was also charged with criminal mischief. Sheen is thought to have become angry after he and his wife, Brooke Mueller Sheen, also known as Brooke Allen, began drinking on Christmas morning. The row escalated at their rented house in Aspen, Colorado, and, grabbing her around the throat, Sheen is alleged to have violently pushed his wife. An ambulance was also called, but Mueller was not taken to the hospital. According to the celebrity gossip website TMZ.com, police attending the scene gave both Mueller and Sheen blood alcohol tests. Despite telling police Brooke was the aggressor and that he was just trying to defend himself, Sheen was taken to Pitkin County Jail, where he was locked up for eight hours. He was eventually freed on bail, after paying a bond of $8,500 (£5,325) and being advised by a county judge on the conditions of his release. A court date has been set for 8 February 2010. Well-known Colorado attorney Richard Cummins, who is representing Sheen, cautioned against any rush to judgment.

You refer to chocolate and PMS. LOL
Oh ok, I guess I do have a home-page (lol!)........I don’t ever suffer from PMS, but I do come in to work cranky after paying bills the night before, like today, if you read my most recent posts........the antedote is usually a chai latte and a bowl of raw almonds.
Alot of women suffer from the narcisistic belief that these guys were unhappy with their previous love interests, but they can change that, they will be different. Women can have egos out the wazzoo too.........
The phenomenon of celebrity many times attracts those only interested in money or living in someone else’s limelight. The potential pitfalls are either ignored or not important enough to consider.
Many women are also attracted to the “bad boy” without realizing how “Bad” they can actually become.
“I dislike Charlie Sheen and his antics as much as the next person here, but what kind of person informs their spouse on Christmas Day that they want a divorce as its reported his wife did?”
-Still, you DON’T grab a knife and hold it to their throat unless you have SERIOUS problems in your head.
“Yer gunna STAY with me and LOVE me, or I’m gonna KILL you!”... I know this happens a lot but it’s WAAAAAAY wrong.
He’s frickin’ Charlie Sheen - big time... well, you know.. movie star. He should have told her to not let the door hit her patootie on the way out.
You might have read my subsequent posts and discovered that we are on the same page on this subject. :~)
Ok..so the consensus if if you have a rotten spouse...you leave them. A knife should not replace your your lack of emotional security. If you hate them that much....Just leave.
I’ve heard it said that women marry certain men, thinking they will change.
And men marry certain women, thinking they will never change.
(I am not going to take your chocolate away, whether you have PMS or not, lol)
Not to be a traitor to my gender, but women do alot of things that don’t make sense. Some men patiently understand that.
Honestly, I’m not a chocoholic........cheesecake, however, is another story.
