Wonderful news!
My FIL died of Prostate cancer in 2006, he lived with it for 7 years, moving from the prostate to the lungs, bone and finally brain. He is smiling right now.
I'm sure he is. Sorry for your loss. I really hate cancer. It's taken a number of people in my life, and always cruelly.
Discover now because if they ram health care down our throats there will be less spent on research.
US researchers have found an antibody that hunts down prostate cancer cells in mice and can destroy the killer disease even in an advanced stage...the drawback is, you have to swallow a mouse...
Someone please contact Imus and relay this information. I am sick and tired of hearing him spout about his prostate cancer woes.
Anyone seriously think this will become a treatment?
I pray your right but people dying and spending years in treatment are all good things for Corporate America. Lots of profit in the suffering of others.
Have enough coin and you can jet off to Europe for an ‘experimental” cure like Magic..
I look for this treatment to be sidetracked soon..Maybe a good 10 years of testing and some fat checks will keep the creators quiet.
I pray I am wrong, Sadly suspect I am right.

Good news but not for a very good friend who died from prostate cancer on Dec. 19.
God willing, this will help others.
Rest in peace FIL.
Yeah, but who gets prostrate cancer? Old guys. And they’re non-productive. So this research is a waste of “precious resources”. MengeleCare doesn’t exist to keep the non-productive alive. Sorry.
hey pal, who you calling old? unless you arein 20 or30 ies, being 50 is not what I consider old. just went through last 19 months dealing with it.so give the name calling a rest.
No good sarcasm goes unpunished, you stinkin’ prostate basher.
I think you are being sarcastic. I got diagnosed and operated while 49.
Sheesh, at this point aren’t mice nearing immortality?

I called it "MengeleCare" in my post, Phinanceguy. Do you really think, reading that, that I'm someone who believes that "old people" should be thrown under the bus? I'm mimicking the death panels and what we are ALL facing in the future from this monstrosity and the monsters who created it. And of course I don't think 50 is old or that only old people get prostate cancer. Again, I'm trying to mimic the bureaucratic thinking of the Death Panels.
Anyway, I hope you're doing well.

Thank you, Nervous Tick. I really didn't think I needed a sarcasm tag here. I thought that everyone, like you, would read my post for what it was: a put-down of MengeleCare, which is what I'm going to call this monstrosity from now on.

Yes, Jay Thomas, I was being sarcastic. I purposely left off the sarcasm tag because I was pretty sure I didn't need one.
I hope you're doing well.
