I try to copy it using the Bisquick mix and add more cheddar and garlic to it, but it’s just not the same.

Old Bay Seasoning is really the key ingredient ... I think that is why they call them cheddar bay biscuits and you have to brush them with butter, garlic salt and parsley mixture before and after baking. You can get a really close copy that way. Although I normally don’t use garlic salt, that is what Red Lobster uses, so if you want them identical you use garlic powder or garlic salt.
