I’m ready to dump Wells Fargo. The only reason I am still a customer there is because of the convenience of their branches. I hate the way they handle their savings accounts, every now and then, the savings you had with the best rate becomes the savings with the lousiest rate. It means having to stay on top of what they’re offering, and having to move your money over to the ‘new’ best savings plan which requires new paperwork.
Does Bank of America operate that way, anyone knows? Do their savings plan stay the same or do they change their savings plans so that you have to move your money over to get the rate you were once getting?

Let me tell you why we did.

Sent a check to a company in Florida. For whatever reason, they ended up cashing the SAME check about 4 times (About every 3 to 4 days). Wells Fargo WOULD NOT HELP!!!!! Wanted to put a CANX CHECK on it, WF said they couldnt! Tried to put a STOP PAYMENT ON IT, WF said they COULDNT(check had already cleared once, twice, three times, didnt matter, it cleared each time) WTF!!! At that, I went to the bank in CARLTON MINNESOTA and CLOSED THE ACCOUNT, the ONLY way to keep this from happening. Yes, they forgave the overdraft charges (about $3000 worth), but no matter how many letters you send out, no matter how many apolgies you extend, no matter how many times you BEG, you still end up being the looser.

After 14 years with Wells Fargo, I will N E V E R use them again, in ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
