"Space appeared to bubble, gravitic lensing of the background stars randomly sparkled in the cold void as an object suddenly burst into view, a long ringing electromagnetic siren song wailed off into the void to announce the appearance of the Hab into local space."

"... accretion in all-embracing air ..."
Or vacuum, as the case may be. As is usual, we brought Asteroid Plymouth along with us.

I have noted, though, additional tensioning of the harmonic balancing cables between the Habitats. Nothing alarming about it, just indicative of adjustment to a slightly higher gravitational gradient field. This location is temporarily higher in local mass accretion. It will probably disperse again in a few weeks.

Hmmmmn.

I don’t remember a work permit gettin signed fer that there tensioning operation on da hamonica balancing cables.

Hmmnph. (Checks log.) No LOTO (Sionnsar explains that’s a lock-out-tag-out to the udders listening to Robt Hmmnphing and Hermmning) either.

Is dat dere tansioning harmonica calibrated this year? (Tachick explains that the only tansioning calibration lab is in Hawaii and she can’t get back there until two years after last year because it isn’t this year over there yet because they’’re still in last year.)

If the extra mass doesn’t disperse, it’ll have to be evened out and compensated for.
Spiderbots forward, land ho!
