While some would alarm all-around abating a theory, others would alarm it a accurate set of facts. Opinions alter vehemently. Let us accede all-around abating to be both a apriorism that the ambiance of the apple as we apperceive it is slowly, but actual absolutely accretion in all-embracing air and baptize temperature, and a affiance that if whatever is causing this trend is not disconnected or challenged activity on apple will dynamically be affected.

Afternoon. We all went out to lunch, but my stomach was feeling twitchy again. Argh!
I’ll start a novena for you. After all these pregnancies, I’m deeply sympathetic with stomach-gripes!
Still cold here, but there was an excellent turnout for Mass, and no catastrophes.
It seems more settled now, but...
The Mexican food around here tastes like it was made by Asians. Except in one place in Bellingham, where the food is good and there are cowboy paintings on the walls (proving that it’s an actual Tex-mex restaraunt and not a Pathetic Northern Attempt.)
Sigh. The work-week begins, sort of. Pre-registered for the conference later this month. Upcoming: book hotel(s) and flights to Paris, wade through tons of e-mail, teleconferences, preparations for Tuesday’s meeting, work on powerpoint for March conference.
Maybe someday you’ll be posted in Houston. Asians make Mexican food there, too, though. Maybe Corpus Christi.
I have to work on lesson plans tonight, and get Tom practicing for his speech competition, which starts Friday afternoon. DP’s old Navy blue blazer, with nice brass buttons, fits Tom now, so at least we don’t have to go shopping. Maybe it will still fit next year for his Confirmation; if not, he could wear his Boy Scout uniform.
It's probably adaptation to "local taste" (which will be influenced by the Asian population); similar to the American "Chinese" restaurants whose food bears little to no similarity to what one gets in China, and which has been reviled by my colleagues visiting from P.R. China (Beijing, Wuhan and Shenzhen).
But cowboy paintings on the wall do not authentic Tex-Mex make. There is a restaurant in Maryland that fits your description, but it's a "Pathetic Northern Attempt" at Tex-Mex. (Though it's good/American/inexpensive enough I always eat there once during my annual nearby week-of-meetings, about to have 3 more days added.)
T-C, at least she's honest -- if rather a bit too blunt to be an Anglican, but I over-reach myself! *\;-)
I've been called far, far worse on the Anglican/Catholic mix-it-up threads -- and Romans and Anglicans do have an honest difference of opinion and world-view. This being the UT, and I being Anglican, well, further affiant sayeth nought. *\;-)
We all like her and for as long as she doesn't mind hanging out with us heretics, we'll deal with that. LoM has taken her to Mass at another local church this afternoon/evening. She didn't seem to like the previous one.
I wanted to go to Corpus Christi, but I obviously didn’t. I’m told that wasn’t a bad thing...apparently the cutter I put in for there is a bad ship for women to be on.
I will answer to anything, even “SCREED,” for a nice pint of Guinness, Monkey Force.
;-o)
I’ll assume it was some version of humor. Please thank LoM for taking Petunia to Mass. At least you’re getting a tour of local Catholic churches. Serve her right if it’s in Vietnamese, with GONGS.
Last Post? Bunny SHOULD cry!
Vietnamese, with gongs? Sounds like fun. Might they have dan baus also?
Teenagers’ attempts at humor gang oft’ aglee. We’ve tried to inflict some filters on the Offspring, honest, and she never heard us refer to Anglicans (or Baptists, for that matter) as heretics. Too much history-reading?
Our basic line, if an issue arises, is, “We think (these or those) are in error about some things, but they think the same about us, and we all ought to just have some steak and Guinness and concentrate on where we agree.”
I think my own failings are the sticking point, too. Sigh.
I'd expect this kind of cold streak the last week of January. Not the first week.
As Han Solo was once heard to say,
"I've got a bad feeling about this..."
Talk to DC about the Force of Monkey.
‘Face RULES!!
When we were stationed in Germany, we went to a pizza place. Hubby ordered pizza and I ordered lasagne. There was no difference in taste, texture or appearance ~ only in the price.
