meh... Don’t do it. I managed to stretch a one day migraine into a two day migraine via the above method.

Mine are odd if they last less than ten days, so I’m thinking even a few hours’ respite is a good thing. However...I suspect I don’t really want a 20 day migraine.

Good morning. I had a migraine this morning, too, but I think it’s over. I’ve got my pork roast (7 lbs.!), beans, and sofrito ready to take to the homeless mission. Zot, it all smells good ... but I know how much fat is in it, even after I fed two bowls of scraps to Ash.

The catz were mildly curious. Once they determined that (a) the baby was too young to pull their tails and (b) the baby was too young to feed them, they lost interest. ;-)

Little one had a checkup yesterday; she gained 6 ounces.

She was 6 lbs, 15 oz, and 20 inches. Good size, but not too big!

Thought I would check up on the weather and hoo boy, it looks like we’re about to get pounded with rain. Only flood watches at this point, though, through Saturday afternoon.

She’s going to be tall. There is a formula...I’ll have to ask my son to check his baby book...that if you measure them when they are two years old, and use the formula, you will know how tall they will be as adults.

I did it. It told me he would be 6’4” and it was spot on. Of course, at the age of two, I could NOT imagine looking up at my son!!

We’re looking for five days of rain next week. Now THAT is different!

I suspect you’ll get some of the “parade of storms” that we are supposed to get, but I think the midwest and east are going to get the worst of them.
