Mary, Did You Know?, Oh Come All Ye Faithful, Beautiful Star of Bethlehem, all of them!
HARK THE HERALD ANGELS SING,
GLORY TO THE NEWBORN KING...
Dradel, Dradel.
Bing Crosby's version of "Do You Hear What I Hear?" is another sentimental favorite of mine.
“Oh Holy Night” by Josh Groban
O Holy Night, specifically by Michael Crawford of Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera

ABSOLUTELY!!
“O Holy Night” gets me every time. I have many favorite carols, but none so beautifully and correctly — summarizes the true meaning of Christmas.
What wonderful words:
“Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
till He appeared and the soul felt His worth.”
A thrill of hope the weary soul rejoices,
For yonder breaks the new and glorious morn,
Fall on your knees,
Oh, hear the angel voices!
Oh, night divine,
Oh, night when Christ was born!
It’s all there, isn’t it? The sin of this fallen world! The salvation from that sin Christ offers all! The need for us to surrender to Him and His Grace for that salvation! Yeah, it’s all there!!

GLORY BE TO GOD ON HIGH
Charles Wesley - 1745
Glory be to God on high,
And peace on earth descend;
Now God comes down, He bows the sky,
And shows Himself our Friend!
God the invisible appears,
God the Blest, the Great I AM,
He sojourns in this vale of tears,
And Jesus is His Name.
Him by the angels all adored,
Their Maker and their King;
Lo, tidings of their humbled Lord
They now to mortals bring;
Emptied of His majesty,
Of His dazzling glories shorn,
Our being’s Source begins to be,
And God Himself is born!
See the eternal Son of God
A mortal Son of Man,
Now dwelling in an earthly clod
Whom Heaven cannot contain!
Stand amazed, ye heavens, look at this!
See the Lord of earth and skies
Low humbled to the dust He is,
And in a manger lies!
So do the sons of men rejoice
The Prince of Peace proclaim,
With Heavens host lift up our voice,
And shout Immanuel’s Name;
Our knees and hearts to Him we bow;
Of our flesh, and of our bone,
See-Jesus is our Brother now,
And God is all our own!
Too many to name.
But when I hear “Jingle Bell Rock” on the radio, I know it’s the commercial Christmas season. FWIW.
O HOLY NIGHT ... hands down, or hands UP.
Ring Christmas Bells!
DITTO to “O Holy Night”! That’s my #1 Favorite.
I also love “What Child Is This?” and “Hark! the Herald Angels Sing”
In terms of secular songs: “Carol of the Bells” and “White Christmas”
Yes... it’s all there, and the melody is the icing on the cake.
Joy to the World. It is so hopeful, and well, joyful. The Lord is come- let Earth receive her King.
You nailed it. IF we did fall on our knees as a nation, we would see big changes in this world.
I would ave to go with “Joy to the World”
Too many to name, but O Come All Ye Faithful has always been my favorite - it’s so grand, but I also love O Come, O Come Emmanuel, Still, Still, Still, and Silent Night.
Also, if you’ve never heard it, there’s a song, which you can get on itunes sung by Julie Andrews called ‘The Lamb of God,’ this is an absolutely beautiful song! Wish more people knew this one.
