Any physical abnormality (shortness of breath and severe abdominal pains) of more than a few days is worthy of a trip to the hospital or at least her physician. I don’t get it.

What don't you get? The same thing happened to Michael Jackson. She probably had some quack doctor come to the house every so often and bring her suitcases full of meds that the husband used to keep her alive but totally out of it.

This gave the husband complete control of everything. She was worth more alive than dead, and someone screwed up the dosages or she was just too frail.

PS - this is becoming the all-Tiger, all-Brittany site. We're like TMZ for smart people!

Amen and Amen to that. Especially on “the shortness of breath”.

If my mom and I had insisted that Dad went to the emergency room
after he had “a cold” for two days...the actual heart attack he’d
had would have been diagnosed and he might be here today.

Mom and I kick ourselves a bit...but he was a tough Depression-era
kid...so a heart attack was just another bit of an inconvenience to him.

SO, if a relative/friend even SEEMS to have shortness of breath for a
short time...take them to the ER/Doctor. No matter how much they
complain about “inconveniencing everybody”.

The known meds and events may imply the way to a possible answer.
