I saw Frank 5 times. He used to come through Chicago every Mothers Day. Best bunch of musicians, ever.

Willie The Pimp should be the Obama Admin’s theme song.

It’s really nice to run into another Zappa fan. IMO he was one of the best. His shows were simply amazing.

His music still holds up because it was so complex you cant digest it in one listening.

If I was stuck on a desert island with one piece of music to listen to for life it would be Peaches and Regalia

"Saw Zappa at the Chicago Auditorium Theatre way back in ‘88. Guest appearance by a guy named “Mr. Sting”, ..."

There's a soundboard bootleg of that show floating around. You should be able to find it with google.

Saw Zappa at the Chicago Auditorium Theatre way back in ‘88.

He played there every Mothers Day. The live version of Illinois Enema Bandit rocked.

The correct title of that classic piece of music is “Peaches en Regalia”. LOL.

"We're Out To Get You" from Good Singin' Good Playin'.

Frank produced that album and added the line "I think I'll join the Navy" to the out-choruses of the song "Miss My Baby."
