My thumb too. But doesn’t it feel like you’re alway’s rubbing your thumb with sandpaper when you use the thumb now? Took mine off on my tractor.

Looks like we may need to start a list of partial philanges amputees here! I’ve only got 9 toes due to a bicycle accident when I was 7—40 years ago they didn’t sew bits and pieces back on. To this day I still feel phantom pain where my little toe used to be! Weird!

That's the best description I've heard to describe it.

I live in the city, but had my accident about 50 miles out in the country. I figured I was lucky, country doctors have a lot more experience sewing fingers back on.

I was also lucky it didn't come clean off and land in the dirt. It was hanging on one side and one of the guys there was a medic with his kit,so he had it wrapped in gauze before it started bleeding out. No infection.
