To: big truck
I knew a man who reached inside a farm machine once (some kind of machine for harvesting corn) to unjam it while it was still running. His arm got stuck and he couldn't pull it back out, and the machine kept grinding on his knuckles while he stood there yelling for help. He had to keep his fist in a ball for several hours or it would have eaten his fingers off. He was rescued when a family member came out and found him because he was late for dinner.

A very lucky man, he only had skin abrasions and serious cuts on his hand, had he moved further in, he would likely have lost fingers or perhaps a hand and would have bled to death.

Machines can be wonderfully scary........

Yes, wonderfully scary and they flat out just don’t care. Being told “You’re a machine!” may seem like a compliment but it just means you are devoid of feelings. Not so nice.
